In 2002 Daisies and Day Lily Bud became a billboard image for the Arts of the Southern Finger Lakes’ Billboards ~ Just Down the Road project. Jan used an image of a peony taken in her backyard in June, 2003, for the cover photo of the artist’s book Honoring Your Love, Honoring Your Grief When Your Loved One Has Died. Jan designed the book and provided photographs in collaboration with writer and grievance counselor Chris Lloyd after being awarded an Artists Crossroads Grant through the Arts of the Southern Finger Lakes. Distribution of this book began in August, 2004.
